I’ve been looking for a new home for my two amazing dogs – it breaks my heart to part from them, but I’m moving to Germany and they wouldn’t adapt well to urban apartment life after living in a house with a yard. Sammy and August are a closely bonded pair, and I really wanted to find a home where they could stay together. And I'm delighted to say that it has worked out. Since late summer 2017 they've been living on a small family farm/winery about an hour south of Portland, with wonderful people who love them dearly.
Thanks to everyone who shared my posted appeals and helped bring about this happy result, and special thanks too to the other fine folks who were also interested in August and Sammy and would also have given them a great home.
